Fairy Tale Friday

Fairy Tale Friday

Happy Friday, everyone!

There’s something truly magical about Friday. (It probably has more to do with the fact that the weekend in around the corner.)

That's a bit creepy, isn't it?

Because of the lightheartedness Friday brings around, I thought I’d add a new series to my blog, where I will highlight a fairy tale story from authors all over the world! These will be original (classical) tales, and I’ll provide a summary of the plot. I think it’s a great way for myself, and for other people to hear about some of the more obscured tales out there!

This will be a bi-weekly post that will go up at 12 PM on Friday. Since this post is an introduction to the series, the first Fairy Tale Friday post will be up on February 16, 2018

If you know of any tales that you'd like to find out more about, please let me know in the comments below!

The first fairy tale I’ll be discussing, The Lily of Life: a Fairy Tale, was written by Elisabeth of Wied (AKA Pauline Elisabeth Ottilie Luise zu Wied) who was the Queen consort of Romania and was wife to King Carol I of Romania. She was widely known by her literary name, Carmen Sylva.

I’m hoping this will be a fun, educational, and interactive series for everyone 🙂
